What are Reports. A database is basically a massive data warehouse, where the site stores all the information we feed it when we complete fields on the different pages of this site. Reports are webpages that present information stored in the database in a useful way. You can access any of the Reports by clicking on the "Reports" link in the top right-hand area of any page.

Report Types. Some reports available in the Reports area include the Latest Results, All Results, All Points, Item Nos., My Entries, My Results, and My Points. Because they are custom reports tailored just to you and your account, you will only be able to see information in the last four reports if you are logged in and have accessed the reports page from the link on the forum site.

• The Latest Results report lists results for shows for the last 45 days, to reduce loading times. Because it depends on the date the photo was uploaded to determine what is the "latest," you may see the 2nd place horse in a given class drop off before the 1st place horse.
• The All Results report lists results for shows for the calendar year for all exhibited horses.
• The All Points report lists the points accumulated by all horses or animals in each event (e.g., breed halter, western trail, etc.) for the last calendar year. If you do not complete the "point-seeker" version of the Description field formatting, your horse/event will not appear here. Horses receive five points for each time the horse places first in a given event or receives a championship, four points for second place or reserve champion, three points for third place, two points for fourth place, and one point for fifth place.
• The Item Nos. report shows the ID numbers assigned to each horse and event combination contained in photos in your personal myGallery space, along with the horse's name, a link to the applicable photo, and other information. Assigning item numbers to each horse/event combination is necessary if you want to compete for points. That report will help you ensure that you do not accidentally assign the same number to two different horses, or the same horse but different events. See the photo Description field formatting instructions for further explanation. Right now, this report is sorted by the ID number, with the latest ID number on the top. Later, as time allows, we'll add other sorting options to this report.
• The My Entries report lists all the information in the text fields of every photo you have entered in a show for the last 45 days, along with links to the entered photos. This allows you to easily see what horses you have entered in shows without having to review every class in every show. It will allow you to see if you accidentally uploaded a photo to the wrong location or included the wrong information in your Title or Description Fields. The report is sorted so that the latest show's entries appear at the top.
• The My Results report lists all your results for the calendar year, for horses or other items owned by you, with links to the applicable photos/entries. The report is sorted so that the latest show results appear at the top.
• The My Points report lists all your horse's accumulated points for the calendar year, for horses or other items owned by you in a given event. The report is sorted so that the highest point-earners for a given event (e.g., breed halter, western trail, etc.) appear at the top. If you do not complete the "point-seeker" version of the photo Description field formatting, your horse/event will not appear here. Horses receive five points for each time the horse places first in a given event or receives a championship, four points for second place or reserve champion, three points for third place, two points for fourth place, and one point for fifth place.
• In return for helping us offset the costs associated with the site and extra maintenance, hosts can request and receive Special Reports just for their shows. If you are an entrant in a special show, you may get access to these special reports.

Troubleshooting Reports. You should review reports often to make sure that your info is showing up and doesn't look weird. Here's a list of common issues and fixes:

• I don't see any data in my "My Points" report. You will not see any data in your My Points report if you do not complete the "point-seeker" version of the photo Description field formatting instructions.
• I see extra characters or weird punctuation in reports. Your data will look weird if you don't follow the photo Description field formatting instructions.
• I keep seeing the message "No NAME* text" where my horse's name should be. That message will appear if you don't follow the Description field formatting instructions. The database can only find the horse's name if it is in the prescribed format NAME*[horse name] in the photo Description field.
• I want to change my entry information but the show is over. You cannot edit your photo information after a show is complete.
• I'm having a different problem with reports. Post to the Show Scheduling and Support forum, and we'll try to help you.
