Show Name: The Collective - Show 1

About the Collective: The Collective will be a show series with a twist - anyone can host a qualifier show as long as they have a class list that has enough commonality to be incorporated into a championship show format, and a willingness to support the championship show by providing prizes, or judging, or both. Horses placing first through third in any Collective qualifier are eligible to show in the championship show.  When we have reached a critical number of shows - somewhere between twelve and eighteen - the championship show will be held, with a class list that accommodates a full compliment of halter and performance classes, with ribbons, rosettes and prizes.

Cost: The cost will be $10.00 for up to 100 horses and $20.00 for 101-200 horses. There is no per class photo limit. Contact host to enter.

Entry Period: January 22, 2022 through February 6, 2022 at 4 pm PT/5 pm MT/6 pm CT/7 pm ET. Follow the Simple or Advanced formatting rules.

Stewarding: We are shooting to have stewarding complete by Sunday, February, 13, 2022. Entrants, please make sure your Options to receive private messages and notices of new private messages are turned ON in your Options settings, and make a point to frequently check your "My Comments" area in "Reports" (topmost menu on this site) to see if the judge-stewards have any questions for you.

Judging: We expect to have judging complete on or about Tuesday, February 22, 2022. NOTE: The show is complete; please see the Reports area for results!

Judging Criteria:

• OF Divisions: 33.3% Anatomy/Biomechanics/Conformation, 33% Color, 33% Collectibility/Condition
  
• AR/CM Divisions: 33.3% Anatomy/Biomechanics, 33.3% Conformation, 33.3% Workmanship
  
• Performance Divisions: 30% Appropriateness of the horse and rider to the discipline, 30% Appropriateness of the tack, attire, obstacles, 30% Appropriateness of pattern or action, 10% Appeal (how well it all comes together visually)
  
• Scene Criteria: 100% Visual appeal within the stated scene category.

Title Field should include:  Please put breed/gender in the title field for halter divisions, and the performance event (e.g., English Pleasure) in the title field for the performance divisions. That will just make it easier for the judges to steward their divisions.

Rules:  See the "Halter Class Notes" and "Perf Class Notes" in the classlist area below. Follow the Simple Formatting instructions in the Help section if you are not competing for points. Follow the Advanced Formatting instructions if you want to compete for points.

PonyBytes Events: Use "Breed" for the halter divisions. Use "Western" for performance classes 301-307. Use "English" for performance classes 309-314. Use "Other" for performance classes 316-318. Use "Misc" for the Scene Specialty classes.

320-323 These are scene specialty classes based on songs from Supertramp's Breakfast in America album. You should create a scene based on the lyrics for each song: link to album lyrics. Scenes should include a horse somewhere within the overall scene.
